This whole thing has gotten way out of hand. Not sure what to say really. I'm not going to quit TA just because a bunch (excuse me, one in particular) of numb-nuts accuse me of cheating.

Haven't done it (cheated that is). Plain and simple. My recent 2k row was not a relay. It was a single piece rowed in the time specified. QED.

I will also not be bullied into racing. I will race when I'm darn well ready to race. Not until. QED.

Sorry to hear that the two founding members of TA couldn't take a bit of heat. It saddens me that they were not willing to stick up for their fellow team mates. I have no hard feelings, I wish you all the best.

As for the remaining members. You know what TA stands for. Keep on keeping on.

You are correct in saying people should stick by there team mates ,and if i had any beef with you should have done it man to man.I APOLIGISE to you for the whole issue. I have finished with the team as i feel i have let a lot of people down. Wish the team the best of luck in the future.

Come on, John, let's keep these comments based on reality.

We all know he's not going to do that.

But of course he is welcome to post here, take up the challenge and prove his times are for real.

Perhaps he will do this but...... whoops I see he just posted here and retreated again.

Shame on that one num-nut who has dared to notice these things, though I'm a bit confused as to which one of the many num-nuts who have noticed Dwayne's inconsistencies and retreativeness that it is. Will the real num-nut please step forward.

Thanks to who mailed me, I will react very soon.
The "Rucking Fugby" Test is a heck of a workout for your first one back after surgery/illness. Good for you and good luck on future attempts! Are you also just doing some long slow stuff to get your base back?

I take you at your word and look forward to your race results when you are ready.

Still a few days left of March--one more Rugby Test for me and then, ah, the blessed 10K! Did the final votes get cast on it yet?

Dwayne: Teammates stick up for teammates because they've earned each other's respect.

Have you earned respect? Or stolen it? Your teammates are divided. So prove yourself, or step aside.

Come on Dwayne, you can’t just body swerve the whole issue just like that fella. Why is Chippy being painted as the victim, he thought he was doing what was best for his team, that took some balls and I respect him for that.

Do you not feel that you owe it to your team to put this whole issue to bed once and for all?
If it was me, I would love nothing more than sticking 2 fingers up at someone if they questioned my ability, just row a 6:10 2K at a public event, that’s all it will take.
Do it for the sake of your team, if people were slagging my team off I could take great pleasure in proving them wrong.

Until you race in public you will always have this big black cloud hanging over you, and the poor Taffs will be guilty by association, that ain't fair play.

I would say, rowing sub 5:50 for 2K means you're ready for racing. Rowing sub 6 or even sub 6:10 means you're ready for racing.

I'm sorry to hear Taff Members are scapegoated for something they can't mend. I guess now it's time to settle the business, would be a sorry sight to see Taff Attack crumble because Dwayne does not want to deliver hard evidence he can row sub 6. Just deliver the goods Dwayne, help out your fellow team mates.

Can you imagine Dwayne, talking to his image in the mirror.

Dwayne: I'm going to do a 2k this morning and post it in the rankings.

Mirror: Don't tell me what to do!

Dwayne: Don't be a num nuts. I dont care what you think!

Mirror: Stop posting on this thread then.

Dwayne: I will not be bullied into doing this 2k!

Mirror: I knew you'd chicken out of it... cluck cluck cluck!

Dwayne: The only way I'll do this is if no one else sees me doing it!

Mirror: Let's do it together then!

Dwayne: It's a deal!!! Let's go!

Mirror: Then we can post the time in the rankings, and no one will know any different.

Dwayne: hehehehe, that's what I like the best about this.

Mirror: Me too!!! .... QED.

He is not ready.

Look at his ctc attemps last week.

But then again he could also row 5.46 unprepared. :D :D

Dwayne,

Previously sent you a PM to apologise, but would like to do it publically here too, I feel sick about the way we did this - have done all day. But it doesn't change how I feel.

I am totally torn, I believed in you, and still do - you have been huge in putting the TA on the map, but I cannot stand by you. I don't think your a cheat - I can't see how someone would make this long a committment to cheating, but I do think your doing the Indoor world a dis-service by your non-appearence. Don't want you to go all over it again - you've made your stand, but look at it from "their" point of view - I watched Graham Benton bleed pain at Birc, only to be told he's No2. Last week I sat by Martyn Lowe as he refused to give in on his 1:28 bleep - Honestly, The only time I've seen that committment before was when I got to stand in front of Andy Sangster at last years bleep, and watched him do exactly the same to himself. You may well go there, but don't you think you owe it to these guys to try and beat you? Don't you think it would be special? Make rowing history? Don't you think they'd all respect you for it?

Scott Dorance is a total unknown, yet when he went quick last month, the British site exclaimed "Scott Dorance, Taff Attack, HHmmmmm?" - Totally unfair on Scott who is no longer with us - Nobody knows why he left, maybe he's 'oversensitive' like Chip and Me.

Again this month another allegation of Taff Attack being cheats - we tryed to save what we cared about but fecked it up.

And for the record I am not pro Chad, I won't resort to name calling like others have, but although he believes himself to be noble, I feel he is destroying this forum, people are tired of hearing the same argument.

Sorry for not responding earlier.

Just too much stuff, rowing is not my big sport, Football (American style Defensive Lineman) and wrestling are. Just row for fun.

Have just finished a move to California and think I will join a California team. Just too much ego, not much fun.

Thanks for being real nice, everybody is really great.

What has been going on here?

Very good call by the ex Taff Attack leaders, but you should not have gone back on what you said, don’t say sorry for telling the truth. Dwayne as turned the tables on you now and made you feel guilty, this is so wrong.

By the looks of it Dwayne has now set him self up as the new Taff Attack leader. Why don’t people wake up, can you not see what he his going on here? He would rather let the team fold around him than row a 2000m to prove what he claims.

Don’t try and blame any of this on me either, Dwayne has caused controversy all the time he has posted on the forum. Go back in the achieves and look for yourselves, it is all there. If he had pulled a score in a public event anywhere close to what he claims behind closed doors none of this would have happened. If it was not me brining it to light it would have been someone else.

I have had it with you lot, you just wont listen, you don’t know the history, you will now have to live with what you have created, I am wasting my breath, the truth will come out one day and when it does just remember who told you so.
