Welcome to our newest recruit, Rob!! I've been remiss in hitting the boards this week -- just too many tasks keeping me away from the computer.

Good start the season this month. I amassed 172k, which for a non-challenge month is really high for me. I don't know if that pace will keep up, but I would like to do at least 1.2 mm this season. I also want to participate in as many C2 challenges as possible (team and individual). Gearing up for another half marathon for the Solstice Challenge!!

Some awesome rowing Team- keep it up!

And a happy Queen's Diamond Jubilee from this side of the pond!

Took a tumble on my bike yesterday (silly reason too) and banged up my left wrist and right shoulder and elbow. So it looks like I will be taking a short break from my rowing workouts to heal up.

My wife is happy though cuz now i can't avoid jogging with her, at least for a short while :)

Ouch!! Heal up.

(You sure your wife would like it if you called it "jogging"? We runners hate that... Just sayin'!! )

After falling while out riding with my son 2 years ago, and after falling on an uphill and having the pedal puncture a vein this year, and after my veteran bicyclist friend took a tumble yesterday (he didn't notice the high curb), I can't even make fun of you! Drats! (Next time, try to find something block-headed that I haven't done at least once or twice!)

Oh, but if i described the stupid thing I did that led me to flip the entire bike over the front wheel you would have plenty of material to make fun of.

The wrist and elbow feel fine today but the shoulder I landed on is still pretty sore (entering Day 3 since the accident). How much time should I give it to heal before I realize I should see a doctor?

I think we have space for one more, but I don't like this idea of you behaving...
(I think you need to go to the Profile Page, and a bit down there's an Affiliation section, pick TimbukTOO from the drop-down menu.)

Aha. Affiliations = teams. Got it.

I never said if I would behave badly or nicely, just that I would behave :P
