Congratulations - you won't regret it! That's exactly what I would've ordered, I would just have splurged for a couple extra LogCards, so you can carry one to the gym sometimes.
Ultimately, it's the cheapest piece of equipment out there, since spare parts are so reasonable, they show you how to fix things yourself, and it has an incredibly high resale value.

Totally agree with Izz....that's the combination I chose and I certainly haven't regretted it.
Give RowPro a try, too.....I find it helps to compete against my own past rows, just to make sure I'm not slacking!
Enjoy your new machine!
All the best,
Paul

Thanks for all the well wishes!!!!

Can you tell me a little about what I will do with log cards and why I would need extra. (Maybe I have time to add them to the order.

Hope to get RowPro someday (don't I need a laptop for that?) Hope to get a laptop someday

Laptop would be best; but if your rower is close enough to your desktop it could work... It requires a USB connection between the PM and the computer.

The log card records your rows, so I guess Izz means that if you get an extra one then you can carry that one with you in case you're travelling or at the gym and want to use a different rower.

I think other folks have invested in card readers instead of using RowPro -- it will read the card and upload your rows automagically (or something). (I am currently using the tried-and-true method of keeping a post-it pad and pencil by the rower and entering the stuff by hand. Such a rebel. :P )

Sorry, this isn't a Popeye tat, in fact it's an Olive Oyl tattoo. I believe this was the tattoo that helped keep Olive Oyl 'Extra Virgin'!
While this isn't the one I had in mind, since no ships sink when you eat a can of spinach, still it definitely has a lot of potential. I think we can easily put together a collection among TimbukTOOians to fully pay to etch this inking on your right bicep. And if, for some reason, your hubby happens to recommend that you henceforth retire to separate sleeping quarters, we'll be there for you, and drop you a lovely note!

Since you know that I always quote the classics, but since I don't exactly know what Willy Shakespeare would've said about women & tattoos, I'll have to go with Groucho:

Lydia, oh Lydia, say, have you met Lydia?
Lydia the tattooed lady!
She has eyes that men adore so
And a torso even more so
Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclopedia
Lydia, the queen of tattoo!

On her back is the Battle of Waterloo
Beside it the Wreck of the Hesperus, too
And proudly above waves the red, white and blue
You can learn a lot from Lydia!
(la la la la la la)

When her robe is unfurled, she will show you the world
If you step up and tell her where,
For a dime you can see Kankakee or Paree
Or Washington crossing the Delaware!
(la la la la la la)

Lydia, oh Lydia, say, have you met Lydia?
Lydia the tattooed lady!
When her muscles start relaxin'
Up the hill comes Andrew Jackson!
Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclopedia
Lydia, the queen of tattoo

For two bits, she will do a mazurka in jazz
With a view of Niagara that nobody has
And on a clear day, you can see Alcatraz
You can learn a lot from Lydia!
(la la la la la la)

Come along and see Buffalo Bill with his lasso
Just a little classic by Mendel Picasso
Here's Captain Spaulding exploring the Amazon
Here's Godiva - but with her pajamas on!
(la la la la la la)

Here is Grover Whelan unveilin' The Trilon.
Over on the west coast we have Treasure Islan'.
Here's Nijinsky a-doin' the rhumba.
Here's her social security numba.
(la la la la la la)

(During WWII, the following stanza was added:
Lydia, oh, Lydia, oh have you met Lydia,
Lydia the tattooed lady?
When she stands, the world gets littler,
When she sits, she sits on Hitler!)

Lydia, oh Lydia, that encyclopedia
Lydia, the queen of them all!

She once swept an admiral clean off his feet
The ships on her hips made his heart skip a beat.
And now the old boy's in command of the fleet
For he went and married Lydia!

I said Lydia -
He said Lydia -
I said Lydia -
He said Lydia -
Ole!

I can picture Robin Williams singing this to Jeff Bridges in the movie Fisher King. That's a good one for you Terry Gilliam fans.

I just became a multi-millionaire today ... by rowing my 2 millionth lifetime meter this morning. :D Small potatoes in the grand scheme of things, but I hope to make many more millions before all is said and done.
