Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Hi all! I think I'm going to be right on track for hitting my goal for this challenge, but sadly, Izzz, no chance of getting 1M for the season. I'm going to look back through my rowing history to see if I ever managed a million in one season.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I'm right on track for my first season; a partial season. I'm happy with my rankings, so I am just burning some calories and staying healthy for the time being. I thought about pushing it to qualify for the "5,000 meters per day of the season" challenge, but I would have to row 15,000 every day of April, and after the March Madness ... I'm a little fried.
On a side note, where is our hummingbird? She's posted no meters for quite some time. And where is our blacksmith?

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I'm here--I didn't quite fall out of the boat, but thanks for noticing (as you whizzed by ). Unfortunately, for the past week+ I've been beset with trublems (a unique combination of troubles and problems), not least of which was a pressure sore turned boil that made sitting on soft cushions an ordeal. I used a double layer of bubblewrap yesterday with good effect, so with fingers crossed and a lot of hard work I may meet my 400k goal for the WEC.CONLEJM wrote:

As for overall goals, I hit 7M lifetime meters at the end of March (and was so miserable I didn't even notice ), but it's going to be a stretch to hit 400 k this month (I need 19 x 20k rows to succeed). My target is to get to 10M m by the end of November 2012, which should be in time to get a C2 sweatshirt under the Christmas tree. I'm confident that I'll get there, though: the extra 200k I did in January helped keep me on track and I expect that I'll have another big month in July with the Tour de France to spur me on to greater distances, and then another in September with the team challenge. Of course, even the best laid plans are aft to 'gley, as this past week+ has shown. C'est la vie; we press on as best we can.
Congratulations to all in reaching individual goals so far and with wishes for good luck and good health to meet present goals.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
A hearty 19 of 59 members (32%) logged 252,022 total meters Friday!! We're solidly in 9th place behind our nemesis, the Greensburg Correctional Facility. I wonder if they get time off for good numbers? Our team average is up over 107k per member -- bolstered by our heavy hitters!! We have David, Jerry, and Kyle with over 500k each!! Jim stands alone on the 300k deck, while Pat, Heather, Lee, Keith, and Cap'n Izz all have over 200k!! This team is rockin'!! We do have a handful of folks who have yet to post some meters -- don't let the challenge pass you by without getting something up on the board!

Happy Easter All!
That's it for me with this WEC. I am off to Texas for a conference.
Over 68,000 meters, Not nearly as much as Bob, but I got in more than I thought I would.
Good Luck Team! Row Strong!
