Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I got caught up in the March Madness challenge. I missed the first three days of the month with a sore back, and you can only take six days off total all month, so I just kept on rowin' once I started.damselfly wrote: Jim C - 12,500 Seriously good numbers recently!
David, Jerry, and Kyle are so far ahead in the April challenge I can't even see'em. But Heather, Pat and I are so close we're bumping into each other!

And in the headlines....
Concept2 wrote: Concept 2 finally releases floating erg; Coast guard is said to be alarmed.
Concept 2 has announced the release of the floating erg. "This is a total change of paradigm, winter training will never be the same" lightweights rejoice.
The Coast guard is concerned, as rowers concentrating on core strength may tend to watch their monitor and not be fully aware of other exercisers. Concept 2, aware of the dangers involved, especially on the Charles river, has provided this photo as a demonstration of correct form. We expect this to be copied by other manufacturers of gym equipment: running machines for the road, Nordic track for Vermont, the possibilities are endless...

Hi Guys
Not been ignoring all the compliments about the Isle of Man but been away for three days seperated from both laptop and a decent C2.
The Island is a beautiful place when the sun shines- about 10 days a year!!!! but it is a great spot for outdoor sports if you are hardy. The hills are popular for hiking fell running mountain biking and off road motorcycling, I tackled the latter two when I was younger.
We have an end to end mountain bike race from the most northerly to most southerly point which is getting bigger every year and had about 1200 entrants last year. the biggest participation event is the parish walk where competitors tohave to touch the door of every parish church, it is 87 miles lots do it for charity and drop out along the way (seniors can quit at 36 miles) but the serious race walkers finish in astonishlingly short times.
Just spent 3 nights in a hotel where all the equipment has been replaced with state of the art kit in the last year except for the C2's which were the oldest saddest PM2 rowers I have seen in a long time, when I asked why I was told no one likes them they are hard work! They put a whole new meaning into erg - as in eergh- with so much nice kit available I am afraid I only ticked over a few meters
Back in the saddle tomorrow to clock up some meters before I have to leave for LA on the 13th, anyone know where I can access a C2 in Palm Desert? can't go a week without!!!!

Take a pit stop for refueling, new tires, injury, repair, the flu, mechanical adjustments, and anything else that needs to be done. Then, get back on the track!

I finally posted my meters! Time just flies by and I didn't realize how long it had been since I last posted. Oh, well. Now, hopefully, I'm still on track for my challenge goal. Some of you people put me to shame with all those meters you're doing! DANG! That is awesome!
Love the graphics I'm seeing on here. Hilarious! Thanks for the entertainment!
Have a good row,

Capturing meters early tonight -- sorry for the late notice. But I'm updating the database server and don't want things to be effed up with meters if there's a problem. I'll have bigger problems on my hands...

We needed to harvest Sunday‘s data a couple hours early, so tomorrow‘s will be a little longer! 16 of 59 members (27%) logged 201,458 total meters Sunday! We rose to 8th Place in the WEC (but the team from the correctional facility tends to post their meters intermittently)!
