Stats are in process, and I hope to get to them in the next couple of hours. Getting ready for a baton transfer to Ron (thank you thank you thank you!). Ron will do the stats for Friday, Saturday and Sunday so that I can take a quick driving trip to Nebraska to check in with the other side of the family!

woooo hoooo michelle......and welcome paul s...and safe travels k2...and thanks ron....

Firstly, congratulations to the milestones over the past couple of days, Bernie with the 3mm season, and Michelle on the 5mm...

The weather report; fine and sunny in Sydney, and hopefully it stays that way as we head into the weekend. TomO has been on a school camp the last few days and returns home today, no doubt he’ll return full of tales of adventure (at least we hope so!)...

And we can only have sympathy for our Tasman cousins, even if it is Marmite, but in the face of adversity there is always opportunity; we’ll stock their shelfs full of Vegemite...

And of course, it could never happen in Oz, running out of vegemite that is, it would go to the heart of National Security...

Now speaking of which, heading for the jar right now...

Good weekend to all, and as a footnote, we get to start the day with a yeast product, and finish it off with another yeast product at the end of the working day – stout me up

Cheers, BBB

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.21.12

Post by Kona2 » March 22nd, 2012, 7:10 pm

Season meters as of 328/366 = 180,216,107 m

Total meters on the day = 3,005,074 m (astrogator faints at these numbers)

Oars in space (participation) = 39 percent

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:

7.85 MM Jay
7.2 MM Ron
6.7 MM Cathie
5.0 MM Michelle
4.45 MM Jim
4.4 MM Rosi
3.8 MM David A
3.2 MM Rivka
2.85 MM AJ
2.7 MM Tammy
2.65 MM Robyn
1.35 MM Dave H
1.35 MM Walter
1.25 MM enrage
1.05 MM Rebecca

Wowzer, mates...the vegemite vs marmite battles live on....just like the product seems to live on FOREVER in those dark glass jars. Baz's right though - with every downturn, there is always an opportunity. Although, seems to me that Coca-Cola tried to change a generation of folks and tell them that the classic coke formula they wanted to have was going to be replaced by something they didn't want...whoa...backlash. Maybe NZ will air freight some marmite in...in the meantime, there is stout and lots of ales to try...

Thanks so much to all who row with us...whether you row a little or a lot...once in awhile...or TONS...you're a Luna-Tic rower and you're rowing to and from the moon! It's all good.

Not with Ms. Mouse-face cookies ...maybe a side business, sending Marmite sarnies to New Zealand!

Welcome to the team, Paul B., Paul S. and Chuck (did I get that right?) Great to have you with us!

And WAY TO ROW! Will, Bernie and Michelle. Great job racking up those millions! Keep it going!

Have a safe trip, K2! And thanks so much, Ron, for taking the helm for a few days. We are in able hands! :D

Finally, with the rowing done today I reached 2 million lifetime meters! It's been a very productive winter, got my first lifetime million back in early November 2011. Slightly interesting, it's been exactly a week today since I reached 1 million season meters...
