Even the Moose....

Post by Kona2 » March 12th, 2012, 12:29 am

Was driving back to Denver, and going through Winter Park...and something was just a bit different in the local scenery. Stop the car! Get the camera ! Madness....even Moose Madness! A life size bronze moose stands outside of the Winter Park Visitor Center. It's a favorite of many tourists on a regular day...but today....it was even MORE popular.

Image

I guess even the moose are a bit Irish at this time of year... :D

I find myself dreaming about the lost hour of sleep, time changes are not my friend :)

First off, congrats to Katerina for your 2 millions meters!

Welcome back to the team both Jonathan and Walter, and huge welcome to Dana. May you have as much fun rowing with this team as I have :D

By the way, I love the moose Kona2. Looks just like something we would have here in Maine.

I HATE it when the time changes - I can't seem to get my bearings for a couple of days, and the kids at school were BONKERS today. I wish we could just stay on standard time year-round. :? I totally blame the time change for not rowing yesterday. ;)

I'm with you, nancypants. Don't mess with my clocks. I think it's a diabolical ruse initiated by morning people. Just can't figure out what their advantage is ... but I'm sure there is one!

Sorry Chris I don't agree with your statement. It's a gift from us... morning people... towards you night crawlers. We provide you an whole extra hour of nice sunlight, that you will enjoy when you are awake the most... your evening.

In our case, as morning people, we suffer for this kind present. Now in this particular season I arrive at the office just at the moment the sun tries to spread some light in the east. But in two week CET will change to DST as well and I will arrive at the office in total darkness again. So we're the ones that suffer and you're not even grateful for it...
