Owww...sorry to hear about that. And no, I'll tell ya right now that I'm not going to put in anywhere near the meters this time. Ski season is finally getting in the way of my rowing, it's about time! Also I've changed the focus of my rowing from doing the LSD that lasts all day to shorter but much more intense pieces. All that means that the 30k+ workouts probably aren't going to happen for me this time (unless somebody shames me into...SQUIRREL!)CONLEJM wrote:Glen, this may be your month! Ditto for me. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I try to crank out fast times; Thursdays an Fridays are usually a longer, easier row, Saturdays are optional. Sundays are the day of rest.glenmbaker wrote: I've changed the focus of my rowing from doing the LSD that lasts all day to shorter but much more intense pieces.

It seems as if our intrepid Cap'n has been forced ashore before being able to post Thursday's numbers, so I'll post them tomorrow morning with Friday's numbers as well.

Ahoy, mates!! A Friday-ish 16 of 61 members (26%) logged 148,648 total meters yesterday.
Start thinking about personal goals for the WEC if you want to commit to them -- I recommend it! It's a great way to get motivated and stay on course as the challenge goes on. Post your goal here (in k-meters) or PM me. Almost everyone made their goals last time, and many FAR exceeded them!!!
Milestones achieved: Daiva S blew through 250K, and Alison H hit 50K. Nice rowing ladies!!
Approaching milestones: Heather is still pursuing 3M (-10,000m), Matthew is on the cusp of 2M (-3,377m), Kyle is an even 10 from 1.2M (-10,000m), Marius is closing on 700K (-8,500m), Allen is nearing 200K (-21,011m), Matthew is close to 150K (-16,301m), and Sharon is on the verge of 100K (-2,588m). Row strong, team!!

Wow, you're a trouper! After January's VTC, February's Military Challenge, it sounds like you're ready for another month-long challenge 15 days later.
