When the March Madness rowing is calculated, if I met the meters goal for the 5000 meters/day challenge, but did so by rowing some 10000 days to make up for missing more than the allowed miss days, would I qualify for the challenge, or is it strictly based on logging at least the minimum meters on at least 25 days during the month?

my understanding is that you have to log the min meters on at least 25 days to meet the march madness challenge.
I'm going for the 10k daily meters like I did for last years march madness. im not used to rowing daily.

using Row Pro, I joined a group of rowers for the "Half Hour any Power" on-line row at 1100 GMT. There were five of us - one from down under (Baz's territory and certainly a vegemite consumer I'll wager), 2 from Great Britain and 1 from California (I have no clue what he was doing on the rower at 3am). The row was a blast - I came in fourth, but I placed a personal best for the 30 minutes.

I keep seeing that row go by in the list and I keep trying to convince myself to get up that early (5am here), but so far it hasn't happened. :-/ With my schedule, it would definitely be in my best interest to get up and row in the morning (way fewer excuses)

On the flip side of that, I do love a challenge - the *only* reason I rowed tonight is because I had to miss yesterday and I didn't want to start out the month missing two of the first three days.

Jodi, the Erg Challenge doesn't start until the 15th of this month. March Madness is an individual challenge. If you're going to miss a full week, you won't make the challenge and thus I wouldn't worry about it

Ah, now that makes sense! I'm not as far behind as I thought I was. I just need to keep up with the posts and I wouldn't be in doubt as to what's going on.
It finally stopped raining about an hour ago, (thanks for the kind thoughts everyone) so I should be able to make it out to my gym and get a row in with my ab workout sometime today. Then I'll be able to disconnect my PM3 and download my meters for the last few days.

Richard T. your dogs are beautiful! My husband has worked with black and yellow labs for his job and they are such a good breed. Very loyal and have great noses (for sniffing as well as looks ) I'm sure Luna is going to be a source renewed energy and youth for Joe.
