Congrats! That is awesome!
I am amazed (and somewhat surprised) at how fast I am improving, although that is partially a function of being so incredibly slow to start. Still, though, I averaged 15 seconds faster/500 on the same workout this Saturday than I did last Saturday!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!

Congrats K2, Zander and Cathie on your milestones!
And Nancy, as your body gets used to the erg, your performance (and technique) improve with leaps and bounds. Of course, the improvements will slow down soon too. When I first started I was proud of getting down to being able to do a 2:30 pace (and it got my HR to 180+ to get that too). I couldn't get through a 30 minute row without back aches and I'd be sore all over. But every time I hit 7k for 30 minutes I was excited (once I could manage to stay on the erg for 30 minutes anyway). Half a year later (now), my cool down pace is 2:15, and 2:30 is what I row if I want to keep my HR below 120.
But in the meantime: Congrats on the rapid improvement!
Wim (attempting to get back into rowing shape).

Yes, congrats, all.
Hey, Barbara, are you getting to bed really late, or getting up really early for today's run!?
Looks to be about 3:20 am where you live ...

Awesome! Congrats to Cathie, Minnie, Christa and Angelo on your millions!
Seems like I step away for half a day and more milestones sneak by me
Also congrats Nancy for improving your time, I know for myself that is always something I love to see (especially since I'm a fairly slow rower)

I was useless in that capacity, I'd only seen a couple of the nominated movies. But, as soon as they come out on DVD, I'll be all over them! I rewatched "Miracle," instead.

Was starting to look at the team accomplishments for February... if you will recall, the January Woots! were really impressive (took three pages) - and I think January might just be tough to beat! It's really helpful when teammates share their bragging rights on the lifetime meter achievements...unless an individual is your training partner, no one can "see" the lifetime meter totals except that individual. We've got a couple of great team milestones coming up...and lots of individual achievements. Stay tuned!
Flash forward to today....and we've got more celebrating to do!
Season meters as of 304/366 = 161,207,596 m

Hi all - had Bike Jeffco business to take care of this AM in a meeting with the County Commissioners. So am late with the collection of data and the postings...but woohoo! there is an opportunity!! I see that we are at 161,942,500 right now...and the team average is at 999,645 per team member. Who will be the one(s) to tip us over the edge of the ONE million meters per team member? I've got to post quickly, get on the rower, and see if it will be me!
Stay tuned...postings are coming along!
