I don't know about the rest of you, but I absolutely refuse to fall to sixth place.

Well, Baxter is cheating and I don't count them as a valid entry in the list. Fifth is still awfully low though.

Hopefully we can get back ahead of the Croatians. We're putting in excellent meters, so all we can do is continue to be awesome!

I believe it's an honest mistake - definitely a meter entry gone awry! Seems like we have at least one occurrence of data error per challenge.

And we are awesome - thanks for the reminder!! Tough to see us fall from 2 to 5 or 6...just want to keep fighting for the rankings! The "keep fighting" for the meters is more important than the final ranking...

Thank you :) And congrats to Danno for the 2M, Will for the 5M and Scott for sharing the 1M with me today (and whomever I missed).

I had a terrible (really good tasting) dinner tonight and had to do something to make up for it, so I put in a few more meters. I do need to change back to shorter rows for a while I think, as I'm just burning out on 10k and longer rows it seems. But I had a goal for the challenge, and made it (a week early). :)

And yes, if Baxter was actually cheating they wouldn't have made it quite so obvious  *grins*. But in the meantime they 'stole' a spot in the top 5.

VTC: Thru Day 22 or 23 of 31

Post by Kona2 » January 23rd, 2012, 11:14 am

Image 7 or 8 days remaining....

What an excellent weekend of meter millionaire celebrations! I think this might have been the most ever in a two day period! Well done by all ... and the best part....there are MANY more teammates in the queue working towards their millions!

And all the Pats fans can breathe a sigh of relief as the team heads to a repeater Super Bowl...we all love it when our teams do well - and we especially love it when our rowing teams do well. Just goes to show that on a day when a top performer isn't doing as well, the rest of the team can help deliver the results! Overcoming Disabilities teammates now posting a mind boggling 400,000 m average per teammate! They've also pulled to the 11th spot in overall challenge teams and are number SEVEN in the virtual challenge team rankings with over EIGHT million team meters. The Luna-Tics Challenge team is knocking on the door of 17 million team meters...should get there sometime today!

I guess I was actually being sexist. The service technicians who showed up today were a man and a woman. This time they found out that the burner control module was faulty and the fuel nozzel needed replacement. Thank goodness for that service contract :!: Our temperatures are actually going to be above freezing today and rain is predicted. Weird weather :? Looks like I'll have some time to do some rowing today :)

Awesome work by so many "millionairs" - Danno, Will, Scott and Wim.

I hope to pick up my meters to the team average by the end of the challenge... have had an issue with a mildly sprained ankle that hasn't stopped me from rowing, however sure doesn't help!
