How would you plan it?
At the moment I am going hard and high for 5, lengthen for 5, push for ten, then stepping down to a race rate/cruising rhythm, and upping the rate slightly at the 500, 750, 1000, 1250 - sprint for home. putting in 20 stroke pushes (dependant on placing), but probably 5 strokes after the 500 and 1000 (upping pressure in the pushes, not rate)
This isnt me asking you for suggestions (but suggestions welcome ), just a general discussion, I am interested in how others would plan this and the 2K race as well

I find that to be a little bit complicated, that looks like super negative splitting to me if you keep upping your sr every 500, I personally like start sequence --> lengthen --> at 500 / 750/ 1000 make a big move ---> see how much you have left at the end. I like to remain in contact with leaders, or possibly a little bit ahead. Making big moves in the middle of the race can often discourage other crews, the middle part of the race is often the most difficult.
