LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.

A member of an indoor rowing team or club? If so, this is the place for you.

Can this one team row to the moon and back?

I think we can do it together. I'm all in!

very nice...btw...what kind of muffins????
Cinnamon crunch muffins with a bunch of extra cinnamon (and a cup of chunky applesauce as secret ingredient)

Even though I was solo, I decided to go with the hour row since it would give me more meters for the challenge :). After the HM from yesterday I still felt a little stiff though so the row seemed like it took twice as long and felt very hard. Almost gave up before I made it halfway, but I was on track for a PB so I continued and managed 15235 meters.

Very happy with the result. Now it's time for a shower and dinner (and muffins :)).
Wim (attempting to get back into rowing shape).

VTC: Thru Day 15...

Post by Kona2 » January 16th, 2012, 10:57 am

Image 14 or 15 days remaining!

People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it. Period.” – Pursuit of Happyness ...

Hahaha! I love this part of the Challenge....it's the part where no team can add INSTANT rankings boost by putting a few more (sometimes dozens) people into the mix. Sure, there's a deficit of meters here and there...but we can more than make up those meters with a steady effort (or an all in blitz if you'd like ... I've seen a few of those over this last weekend :D ). Decide what YOU want to add to the team's pursuit of top ten rankings - and go for it! We'll all be there working to make it so!

Year-round team reaches THIRD...

Post by Kona2 » January 16th, 2012, 11:08 am

Woot! At this moment, the year-round Luna-Tics team is ranked third in the Rowing Universe.

There may be a little bit of jockeying back and forth as the year and the Challenges progress....but at the present time, we OWN it. Never doubt that all the meters you've been contributing to the recent Challenges, and asking new teammates to row with us, has a positive impact! What tremendous teammates! Hooyah!

Wot he sed!

Congrats to all, and happy birthday AJ & Kiba

Thanks to all for the 1 mill 'onyas, and commiserations to K2 for the weekend's score... your loss is obviously Richard T and Barbara's gain! Is that it for the Bronco's season, or is this a playoff series they get another shot at?

Must be time for an NZ weekend update Baz... what are you up to?

Cheers,
Dave
