Welcome Lisa,
I decided to try this fitness challenge to kick off the new year
http://personalexcellence.co/challenges ... l-jan2012/. I had been following the "Younger Next Year" lifestyle pretty rigorously since 2007. You can read more about that on my blog
http://icoolspark.blogspot.com/2007/02/ ... rules.html but slipped into complacency, not being as disciplined about my diet, slacked off in the intensity and duration of my work-outs which caused me to gain some weight. (not as bad as the fat sheep in shape up with Shaun).
I've been doing challenges with Ewe Row for a couple of years. I never met any of the other members, but we support each other. I started rowning in 2008, and participated in the CrashB's in Boston that year, which is where I got a bargain on my C2. I've given up on the competetive rowing and now I just do it for fitness. I'm up to 2.3 million lifetime meters. I bike in the summer when the weather is nice and alternate between the rower, treadmill and elliptical walker in the colder months. I live in RI, work in Strategy & Marketing for an engineering software company, am happily married, with 3 adult children. I'm also preparing for a mission trip in April to work with handicapped Children at Montego Bay, Jamaica with a group of high school students from my church.
Great to have you on the team!
Chuck

I recommend the book, "Younger Next Year" by Chris Crowley & Dr. Harry Lodge as well as "Younger Next Year for Women". Check them out.
