Thank you Jan for mentioning the 100k, sweet of you as always. Kind of (very) sore today. Jackson just text me he did a 10k today. His first 1H6m4s. They have snow so he wanted to get warmed up before going sledding, not usually possible in Arkansas. He is a winter boy I think. Loves sledding, ice skating, hockey .
Praying for Ron and his sister.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 1.12.12

Post by Kona2 » January 13th, 2012, 12:33 pm

So many milestones recorded ... and so many more in progress! Great moments! Meanwhile, Baz is navigating a kayak through the rapids...we're sure he's totally enjoying himself! New stuff = some trepidation, and lots of "woohoo, I'm alive!" moments. Definitely throw in a hooyah!

Factoring in the late capture of yesterday's numbers, the team has completed back to back ONE million meter days. I don't think that's ever happened before. Stunner!

Season meters as of 259/366 = 130,471,594 m

Total meters on the day = 922,768 m

I'm amazed at how many meters the team is rowing at the moment. When I joined, rowing 10k would put someone near the end of the list most of the time. Now it seems doing 10k puts you in the first 3rd and there's a massive list of HMs. Very impressive!

Especially for a weekday!

I hope Bazzy enjoys the adventure. I'm stuck shoveling my driveway instead. I can tell you what I'd rather be doing :).

Eyeing the Erg

Post by just27 » January 13th, 2012, 5:17 pm

The princess grandbaby shared an evil stomach flu virus she brought home from nursery school. After a few days of ignoring the erg in favor of sleeping, I'm now eyeing it tentatively. I cannot believe how many meters our two teams have been posting ... very impressive, y'all!
