Sounds like you had to paddle for real - glurging, not erging!
Glad to see you're so 'andy around the 'ouse, mate, now it's time to fix our galley's gallery...

Glad we left Bangor - after my 2-hour row, I feel more like a Bangee than a Bangor... I vote that after we get to Miami, we travel to Hurley, NY to help our fave blacksmith move 400-pound cast iron fences.

Yep-it sure does explain a lot. Square, thick head, love self propelled watercraft. Don't forget that the Vikings did some awesome ironwork (they had better swords-that's why they kicked butt) PLUS rowed to the New World-take THAT Christopher Columbus-you got beat by at least a couple centuries :D .

Viking are awe-inspiring indeed. ( Except not so much this year in Minnesota... :o ) If Viking blood helps to row HMs every day, then I could use a pint or two. That is very impressive!

And with this cold-snap up here in the Northeast, I agree with those who wish to paddle around the Caribbean for a while!

Did a PB today for 10,000 meters and maybe my best 500 average. Felt good. Stopped every 10 minutes for about 30 seconds and some water. Might have made the difference.

Don't sweat it, Smitty! (Probably hard to sweat in that cold anyway! ). You're already in the boat! Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to weigh anchor. And I consider you one of the big dogs! :)

We're still stuck in New York, people! Last night's totals got us to 940k, or 584 miles. So we docked just outside of Rochester last night. Brrrrrr!!!!

And in case you're wondering, we have a magic boat that travels on the interstate.
