Holy moly, I can't even IMAGINE planning a route to pick everyone up and then drop them off! Get in that dory of yours and rendezvous with us before we pass you by. We're already through Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, and are almost to Utica, New York!

Hi folks, I will be capturing stats a little late tonight -- the web site I'm using is having "issues" right now, and I have a meeting to go to, so I'll give 'er a shot when I get home (about 9 PST).

Hey, pal - I don't make the news, I just report it! You also may have noticed that I was able to match your sterling total of yesterday, meter for meter!

Since you joined our team over the weekend, I would like to personally welcome you to our amazing boat! Thanks for picking TimbukTOO, and I hope we can help motivate you to reach, or even to exceed, your fitness goals!

The site hoster is experiencing something like a denial of service attack and is working on sorting it out, so when it comes up, I'll get the numbers posted ASAP. But if I lose consciousness (which I tend to do around 10:30), that won't be till tomorrow AM.

We may not have clear numbers, but our total has jumped by over 400,000m since yesterday's posting, and over 60% of team members have rowed so far!
Let me also take the opportunity to welcome Leif Henecke & Cindy Kepler Reck, who signed up since the last welcome was posted. Great to have you two on board pulling with us, and we hope to hear good news in your non-rowing lives as well!

Wow-looks like we're off to a great start. Welcome to Leif (sounds like another person aboard the Longship with the Viking blood like myself) and Cindy-great to have more people aboard. Only question about our trip is-if we beat the trip distance-do we get to row out into the Atlantic??? Always wanted to row in the Keys :)

Ok, I'll row tomorrow for the first time in well over 2 weeks. I took time off to remodel a bathroom. I took the room down to the floor joists and wall studs. Thanks to some unexpected water damage I didn't finish over the holiday and I have to get back to the office. I have a couple more weekends of remodeling, but I'll try for 160,000 meters this challenge.

I suppose we can head down towards Key West... Never been there... That should give us some incentive!!

Heather, apologies to you! Our sharp-eyed Cap'n pointed out I had missed your goal in our list. Added yours and Andy's, so as of last night's stats capture, we stand at:

Challenge Goals - Day 2 of 31 (6.5%):
Mark E - 42,194 of 275,000 (15.3%)
Lisa H - 22,980 of 150,000 (15.3%)
Heather R - 51,000 of 400,000 (12.8%)
Gary G - 33,336 of 275,000 (12.1%)
Yisroel H - 29,445 of 300,000 (9.8%)
Margaret W - 14,271 of 150,000 (9.5%)
Jim C - 15,361 of 200,000 (7.7%)
Leif H - 11,700 of 155,000 (7.5%)
Bob G - 10,000 of 150,000 (6.7%)
Andy I - 0 of 160,000 (0.0%)

Mark, that Viking blood explains a lot. Are you planning to do a HM every day?!?!

At last night's capture, we'd totalled 649k, or about 400 miles, getting us from Bangor to Albany! Still cold though folks, so keep those oars a-crankin'!!

P.S. If you're interested, you can explore the real maps for our main route here, and our progress here.
