Happy birthday Captain K.
Now would probably be the time to mention that I do listen to some odd music. One example is the industrial rock band KMFDM. The band is led by Sascha Konietzko, who also goes by the name of Captain K. Even though on Wikipedia they spell it Käpt'n K.
Of course there are other Captain K examples, but this is the one that always pops up in my head when I see a reference to Captain K

.
Enjoy your birthday!
Wim (attempting to get back into rowing shape).

Woohoo! Another reindeer has left the stable! Welcome to the team, Nathan - we're glad to have you with us on our interstellar journey! And, since you've met the 100K milestone in the Holiday Challenge, you've got a reindeer! We'll name this one Rocky after Rocky Mountain National Park....since Estes Park is the east portal of the Park.
Rocky (Nathan)
Make it to the 200K level, and we'll add some antler lights (good for foggy and/or snowy conditions).

Whoop, whoop and hooyah! Team Luna-Tics has raised almost $600 in the Holiday Challenge! The rowing universe has now conquered 70 percent of the Concept2 donation amount. This is up 1 percent from the time the graph was made. Hopefully we'll make some good gains today!
Kaptain K ! Birthday meters are the best!
Wishing you a fabulous year and your best marathon times ever!
Will post the rest of the stats in a few hours - much to do, much to do! Row strong!

I think you're forgetting that lots more folks will be crossing the magic 100K boundary before Saturday night so the slope of the curve will sharply steepen. We'll be much closer to the target as those folks get their first $2.00 completed. I have no doubt that the $30K target will be reached.

Not forgetting - and there are many who won't post until the end of the Challenge. Still, we could use a bit steeper curve even now! We were so close last year!

I was scrolling down the list looking to see where I landed, but I couldn't find my name. I paused for a second and recalled entering my data after my row this morning. All of a sudden, I noticed the lights and began to chuckle. I knew it had to be for me. How kind of you to remember I like seeing my name in lights. You are so good at what you do Kona2. We'd be lost without you. Thanks for all the motivation.
