Denver Indoor Rowing Championships, Feb 4, 2012

Hi All,

Just wanted to let my fellow Indoor Rowers know of a new race in Denver Colorado in Feburary 2012.
The Denver Indoor Rowing Championship (DIRC) will take place on Friday the 3rd of February and on Saturday the 4th.

On Friday the 3rd, we will be running the longer distance events for those who really love a challenge...altitude and distance.

Saturday will be devoted to shorter pieces and of course the ever popular 2k!!!!

Interested in winning an Erg????

Enter the Team Challenge at the Denver Indoor Rowing Championships.

This is a 1k race. Four person teams need to be comprised of a minimum of 2 women.
Each team member races a 1k simultaneously. Fastest team wins the erg. The Us Rowing Age Handicap
system will be used for this race.

Just finished the Holiday Challenge? Need a new target for training? Only 40 days until the Denver Indoor Rowing Championships. Put that mileage to good use and sign up for one of the longer races like the marathon or half marathon.

3 weeks and 2 days until the Denver Indoor Rowing Championships!

We have added a 1000m race for those who are NOT novices and are just not ready to tackle the 2k! All events are list on Regatta Central!

Denver Indoor Rowing Championships, Feb 3 and 4, 2012 at the Colorado Athletic Club loacated at the corner of Monaco and Yale.

Entry deadline extended to 29 January via Regatta Central for those who are still deciding whether or not to race.

16 days to the first race...the marathon!!!!
