I try to row 5 times per week, 30 minutes minimum. Set a new PB last night (7511m on the 30 minutes), so I'm happy. I won't be doing HMs or FMs anytime soon, but the kilometers still rack up over time either way

sorry to hear. Hope you feel better soon. get to healingKristine Strasburger wrote:Ron, you better put me on the sick list. I did a pretty serious face-plant back on the 13th - stepped on the edge of the sidewalk outside our house, and severely twisted my right ankle and landed right on the edge of the cement on my left knee. It wasn't pretty! Anyways, that is why I was not able to row the final days of the Fall challenge as hoped. I'm glad it happened after marathon season, though! I will be giving the ankle at least another week to heal up - maybe longer as it felt like I tore things up inside. I want to be in full health for the Holiday Challenge, so am not going to be rushing it.
And from me on both counts.......Cheers BBBbg wrote: very nice rumping....

Ron... you are in our thoughts & prayers here in Oz... lots and lots of pOz-itrons heading both you and your sister's way!macbruce1 wrote:OUCHKristine Strasburger wrote:Ron, you better put me on the sick list. We will put on the disabled list, but don't worry we won't be shipping you down to the minor leauges
You're a much too valuable a player to do that.
Take it easy and give it plenty of time to heal.
On a more personal note. I may be missing some days next week and maybe beyond. My sister came by yesterday to tell me she has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. We won't know the prognosis until after she has surgery next Tuesday. Needless to say, I will be there to support her any way I can. She was pretty composed, but I was fighting back the tears. Please keep us in your thoughts. Thanks.
