Joining a Team

Post by ctpensacola » August 2nd, 2011, 12:38 am

I am interested in joining a team to compete in team challenges. I know others have posted on this topic before so I apologize if this is repetitive. Since January 1st of this year, I have rowed 920,000 meters and my average row is over 10,000 meters. I have rowed two half marathons and one marathon in the past 3 months. If anyone needs a team member, please let me know.

Yep, we are definitely an open team (and that always bears repeating)... and we welcome new team members ! This is a fun year round team -- and we get even crazier during the challenges. You'll find yourself caught up in all the good rowing that challenges bring out in us all. Hope to see you on the roster! To sign on with the team, you need to go to your profile page in your logbook, scroll down to where it says affiliations, and select Luna-Tics there. The link for the Fall Challenge team should be active soon as well.

Luna-Tics Team is now entered into the Fall Challenge Roster - and it looks like there might be a change in protocol this year. In the last couple of years, we've had to sign up for each challenge separately. Now it looks like we're signed up unless we indicate we don't want to participate? (Or am I misreading that?) Lunies, while you're in your logbook, check the team section, and see if it says whether or not you're signed on for the Challenge. The Fall Challenge begins on September 15th!
