The flickering UK forum

Post by Bob S. » June 13th, 2011, 4:00 pm

Has anyone tried to log onto it today? I get a blank page, portions of which flicker on and off as I move the cursor around the page. If I clicked on certain spots, a new page would open and do the same thing. That was with Safari. I also tried Internet Explorer and that was worse. It hung up and I had to do a force quit to turn it off.

Never experienced anything like this before.

Dougie,

I tried clicking on that one and the same thing happened. A blank page came up and, as I passed the cursor over the page, certain areas would show up momentarily and disappear in less than a second. There is time to click, so I tried it on the Concept 2 UK link in the upper left hand corner and it worked. Safari showed this as the website URL:

http://concept2.co.uk/

But the page was blank and behaved just like the others.

I have no other problems with my computer or Safari at this point, so I am convinced that something screwy is going on at the website.

I get the same thing, again with Safari - both Firefox and Chrome are working fine.

This morning it seems to be back on track. I got it on Safari with no problem.
