Hey all,
I am looking to invest in a heart rate monitor but there are so many...does anyone have any recommendations? Not too concered about price right now...just something that works. I am on the Model C but am using the PM3 monitor. I prefer something that I can use on different machines as I just got an Airdyne exercise bike I will be using to add some variety (and different muscle groups) to my workout. However, any recommendation is appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Recommended Heart Rate monitor?
I've had a Sigma Sport PC-15 for 3+ years now and have been very pleased. Under $70. The watch has good features: Avg HR, Max HR, Cal, time in HR 3 zones, % of max. I like the user interface, except it defaults to German. The belt picks up well. I use it on rower and bike.
PC-15 outputs Polar signal, you'll need the PM3 Polar module for $25 from C2.
I also have a Suunto T3 that outputs polar. It has a soft belt that feels nicer, but I find it does not pick up as well. I also find the watch interface more confusing. I take it on vacation. C2 USA has stopped shipping Suunto belt and now ships Garmin ANT+ with the PM4....may be for a reason.

I have a polar that I have had forever and purchased the pickup for my PM3. Works well.
