row pro took forever to install on my PC -- finally worked.
Rowpro graphics type crashed my vaio multiple times -- finally works.
Rowpro is now giving my PM3 errors when I plug the USB in to it -- now rowpro doesn't recognize the PM3, and the PM3 won't work with the USB plugged in to it --
-- HELP!
thank you --

Download this: http://software.concept2.com/pm3firmwar ... 1Setup.exe
Connect your PM3 to your Vaio and run it.

Re: PM3 and rowpro messy setup --
Make sure your running the lastest version of Firmware on your PM3
RowPro V3.016 is very stable and your more likley to have problems with the internet connection itself than RowPro. The trial version does appear to have a couple of limitations compared to the full version however. You need reasonable graphics on your PC or laptop to run it at optimum picture quality while still getting the required 50+ fps (frames per second) for smooth pictures. Get both Direct X and Open GL graphics installed on your laptop. Unfortunatly you do need to be computer savvy to get the best out of it and I can see why numerous people have got frustrated with getting it running as it was intended to run.

Re: PM3 and rowpro messy setup --
thank you for this, carl --
-- i just found there was a lot of front-end work for a sort of ho-hum result in the end.
i row 1/2 marathons daily, and the next one scheduled was for today, a day late from when i was rowing, and it was all in GMT -- while i'm in eastern zone -- so i had no idea when the row was, bc there's always the daylight savings time issues +/- 1 hour, etc. --
also, when doing the row, i just found the little man on the pc another thing to look at -- and i ended up reverting to my pm3 display instead, focusing on the end meter forecast, that's all, and on my tv set.
my idea is that the next gen concept2 rower will have a built-in wifi display, with a much better readout -- then i will upgrade -- but for now, i'm content with the pm3 and watching tv when i row --
