Hey all - it's a travel day for me and I have the numbers, but just don't have time to do "the usual stats". Headed to Mesquite for a golf week ! I'll post later today! K2

thanks everyone and have fun k2.....a few folks asked about some marathon snippets....the energy at the expo is amazing....and then my team has a sunday brunch which psychs me up even more.....on marathon monday my team meets and we bus out to athletes village where we have to wait about 3 hours for the start....long port-a-potty lines but fun chatting with folks....finally it's time to get in the corrals....and after a short walk i cross the start line...each year i am so thrilled to be running....it's a downhill start and need to keep myself from going out too fast.....did well through the 1/2 way point but then the calf cramps started and then i felt like i was going to vomit.....it was alot hotter than any of my training days...wonder if that played a part.....lots of walking...questioning why am i doing this...questioning my sanity.....when i knew it was the last mile i was determined to run it in......very happy to cross the finish line.....happy to meet up with my teammates....food and a shower......started thinking about what i could do differently next year.....yes i'm ready to sign up again.....

Today is definitely a good day to keep the positrons flowing towards all our Lunie teammates! We have great celebrations, surgery, and a powerful line of storms in several regions of the US. Jim K just sent me a text saying that he's been without electricity since Tuesday, and that the park across from Tammy's house was obliterated. There are some very strong people on this team who have weathered many different kinds of storms...inspirational stories!
We're down to the wire with just TWO days remaining in the rowing year. Enjoy them!
Season meter's as of 362/365 = 142,606,783 m
Total meters on the day = 285,431 m
Oars in space (participation) = 17 percent
MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:
4.3 MM Baz
4.2 MM Cathie
3.3 MM David A
3.0 MM Rosita!
2.0 MM Rivka !
900 K Greg H
Thanks to all who rowed today ! More updates later in the day !
