A FM is 42K, not a few hundred yards.
3500 strokes, not 35.
Stroke feels great.

Yea.
Like Matthias, everyone should do a FM @ 25-27 spm as a foundation for their 2K training.

What do you do for a FM @ 25-27 spm?

You might want to change your signature line.
36:30 is a great time for 60min, but...
Ya know?
You'd need a 100 hp Merc on the back of your erg to do that one.

I am doing 11 MPS.
3800 or so strokes for a FM.

Even though you're not a lightweight at the moment, that would be a nice improvement in performance compared to BIRC. Still light-years away from a FM at the same pace but it's all moot, since you're lying.

So how far does 'continuously' mean?
You've got 12 days to get your ranking FM in. Why do I have this odd feeling nothing will happen?

When it sounds to good to be true.....
it generally is.
Oh and by the way, glad that your injury cleared up so quickly cause that 1:48 @ 25 mush put a lot of pressure on you.

When I do the FM, sure, you'll have the splits and the IND_V result.
It will be the new 60s hwt FM WR--by a country mile.
Beyond that, nothing else is necessary.
Sorry, but "proving" things to you isn't part of my training.

It hasn't "cleared up."
But it is not bad enough so that I couldn't row.
And I now know what is causing it, so it is not getting worse.
I expect that it will slowly get better.
Still hurts now, though.
I won't do any rowing at 30+ spm until it feels better.
I'll just limit my rating to 27 spm, base pace.
