It would also be _very_ interesting, I think, to take a look at your monitor's history. Perhaps we could work out a trade between you and Mike?

It would only be interesting to you Fucko. I pretty sure Mike doesnt cream everyday over pictures of his force curve because he seems to spend his time training and winning races (lots of them) OTW! I thought you were aware of this. Come on Grandad keep up!

It wouldn't. And it wouldn't be instructive either.

Much more interesting would be to see you hooked up to ErgMonitor presenting a ghosted series of force curves for, say, 50 strokes. This would demonstrate beyond all doubt that your one stroke cameos are indeed pointless and absurd.

Under that test condition a comparison of your stroke and Mike's stroke would indeed by _very_ interesting.

That said, however, since you can't set the date on a camera the chances of you getting ErgMonitor up an running unassisted are nil. And since you like to do everything unassisted :!: we won't hold our collective breath.

Tried to take a photo of my force curve yesterday... but it was just too huge to fit on an earthling camera.... "unprecedented!" "I'm happy with that now." "My work is done." "I am now doing hard sharpening" "Hi-Yo Silver!"

Yes, Paul... As soon as ranger posts any IND_V 42195m TT in the rankings at above 11 spi and faster than 1:50 average pace at a demonstrated UT flat heart rate...... (his claim) I will post a force curve photo...

But...I'll describe it for you now (no kidding) ... it's not as tall. it's longer duration and it gives me the ability to row 5k on the erg under 18:00 as a full-time lightweight...
I have one of these ranked this year.... on slides... so I don't compromise by OTW stroke as much as I would on a stationary erg...

In my own training:
Check out the last 12' of a 30' piece I did yesterday using my blog link in my signature. 1:54 is my limit for longer duration 20 spm rowing. Anything faster and I would not move a boat smoothly enough to sustain speed.

I do not intend to enter a watt/stroke rate rivalry with TSO on the erg.
I am looking forward to his demonstrating steady 2:05 pace OTW for the 5k distance.... :P B)
By comparison....I find it hilarious that Rich thinks he can go for 2 1/2 hrs +++ at 1:48 pace.
3 Crash-B hammers
American 60's Lwt. 2k record (6:49) •• set WRs for 60' & FM •• ~ now surpassed
repeat combined Masters Lwt & Hwt 1x National Champion E & F class
62 yrs, 160 lbs, 6' ...

Yes, I am indeed interesting in getting erg monitor.

Does it run on a Macbook Pro parading as a PC?

Is it Flip4mac that lets Macs parade as PCs?

It would still be interesting to see MIke VB's force curve.

Where does the curve peak?

How strong is it at the peak?

What shape does it have?

How long is it?

Etc.

Wow, another 137m @ an avg 1:53.1 @ 37 SPM == 6.54 SPI done this week. A lowly sub 7 SPI isn't rowing well in Rangerworld.
