Way to row, Lunies! Almost NINE million team meters! It's a great day in the rowing universe! Your contributions are helping us be one of the top FIVE meter gatherers.... more importantly, your contributions on the erg and on the forum make us a great team (not just during challenges - all year round !)! And, if you're seeking to be in the top 10 percent, you'll need greater than 149,018 m ! Top 5 percent = 300K or more....and, drum roll, the top 1 percent = 381K or more.

I redid that song with new lyrics for this room a while ago. It's back there somewhere, maybe someone can find it.

MacBruce1,

Rest easy. Kona2 is on target again or should I say as usual. You folks should beware, you can't slip anything past her.

And yes the surgery was successful. Another happy patient going to her high school reunion with a a bright shiny new smile compliments a whole bunch of porcelain crowns.

Very rewarding job, this tooth carpentering.

Another week rolls around, well at least this side of the line. Great rowing by all and have a good weekend wherever you are in the universe...

TomO has been on camp the last couple of days and is back today (Mum & Dad can’t wait!)...

Walk tomorrow, I’ve had the call from my Papua New Guinea walking partner and the Black Cat Track is on schedule for this September, you may recall it was cancelled last September...so need lots of walking time with the pack on!

Cheers, BBB

I couldn't find anything to put on my toast yesterday morning ... but then, lurking behind the chocolate syrup in the fridge door, was a small jar of slightly used Marmite. (I think it was leftover from visiting Brits 2 or 3 years ago but, hey, that stuff will still be good at the End of Days.) I've never used butter under the horrible paste, but, you'd mentioned that you eat buttered rolls with Vegemite every day ... and ... lo and behold ... a very (very) thin scrap was actually very good! Cautiously impressed. Now, I'm waiting for my splits to be the same as yours ... :)
