Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
All hands on deck, all flywheels whirring!
A rousing TimbukTOO welcome to Gary Dean, aka Prince Mishkin, who has decided to crawl down into the galley with the rest of us wretches!
Wednesday, a wonderful 19 of our 59 fittest members (32%) logged 186,711 meters which, with Gary's 154K, added 341,711 to our total! (But we're still less than 100K ahead of Team Canada in our battle to retain 11th Place...)
Milestones: Gary G reached 1 ½ M, while Gary D hit 150K! (Confused yet?)
Not yet stoned: John nearing 5.7M (-34,564m), Jeff elevening to 1.6M (-26,000m), David a giant leap closer to 1.5M (-10,676m), Adam much closer to 1.2M (-2,634m), Jamie utilierging to 1.1M (-19,623m), Lisa on the fly to 500K (-5,798m), Tom on the cusp of 450K (-3,122m) as is Yolanda (-11,320m), Brenda real close to 200K (-3,378m) and Yogi is approaching 35K (-7,637m).

Jeff and Wyatt, thanks! Your goal progress will show up in today's post from Izz...
Row team! And be sure when you row today either (a) wear green, (b) drink a Guiness as a recovery beverage, or (c) paint your C2 green for the day....

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Lisa,
Everyone needs a goal.
Unfortunately, I will not be hitting my March Madness 10K per day goal it seems - I ran out of gas today- was rowing next to a gym buddy- and I am not used to rowing next to others yet- I went too fast for my opening 30 minute row- just couldn't go after that- we pushed each other along- but at too fast a pace for me to carry on. I dont have time to go back to the gym later- another justification for buying my very own boat.
But put me down for 200K for the team row, please.
Thanks,
Gary

Did exactly 13,034m to reach exactly 4MM lifetime!
These million meters took me 96 days and 64:31 (1:56.1/500m) rowing time! (My 4MM took me 263:24 to do, an average of 1:58.5/500m.)

WEC Challenge Progress
Hi Gang,
First mate Lisa here with tonight's stats while Izz is on shore leave recuperating from his recent 4MM lifetime milestone. Way to row, Cap'n!!
Thanks for joining the challenge, Joel! And if you want to set yourself a meter goal for the WEC challenge, just let me know. It makes a great motivator to get busy in the challenge!
All hands on deck, recuperating from the excesses of Guiness, corned beef, and cabbage!! 22 of 42 members (52%) logged 213,790 total meters. But expect the Cap'n to thrash us when he gets back aboard, because we have slipped back to 13th place!! Though we're still ahead of those wiley Canadians (our long-time rivals), we've got 12 teams ahead of us!!! One is the Greensburg Rowing Team, which having just 7 members, has an average of 169km per member!! (But they're listed as a correctional facility, so maybe they have a lot of rowing time on their hands.... )
Izz, Christopher, and Jeff all joined the 50km club with today's rows! Way to row, men!
