So let me get this right. You are calling out a 72year old man to see if he can do 50 jack knives?!! You are a grown man and not a 14 year old boy aint ya? You can work your camera to film yourself doing it but for some reason cant take a picture of your PM showing data you claim to row but the rest of us (with some justification) dont believe you can. You are not "a little lightweight". You are a heavyweight who used to kill himself to make LW but is incapable of doing it anymore. A lot of consecutive posts this morning Fucko? Your not a happy man are you? All these horrible people who wont buy into your self proclaimed magnificence. It's a crying shame. If only the world would realise that seven years of moving up and down on a stationary piece of exercise equipement is the equivalent of splitting the atom to you. Nice hour on the Kurt Kinetic after erging, videos, and breakfast.
HR flat at 155 bpm.
_Very_ easy stuff now.
I need to stretch these bike rides to 2.5 hours, about 50 miles, just to get used to the FM distance at the level of effort required.

So here is a little challenge for you as you mentioned a FM as the first of the targets you want to go for and you seem to like challenges in the form of videos and pictures...
Considering your better (potential) 2k compared to my (real) one and my inferior max HR (170bpm), a FM like this should actually be a walk in the park for a distance specialist like you. But a PM4 screenshot of the repeatedly announced FM at 1:48 would be fine and acceptable as well.
Or are you possibly a broken old man lying about his abilities???

I'll give the FM a try pretty soon.
Then I'll work my way down through the distance events to 2K.
No, a FM @ 1:48 won't be a walk in the park, but sure, I think I can get it done.

And sure, I have the stroking power.
13 SPI @ 45 spm is 1:24.3.
When I get around to it, I think I'll do something like that.

If your preparation has been good, as mine has been, the proof just follows as a matter of course.

I might do something _exactly_ like that.
11 SPI, on the button.
I like 26 spm, too, with a light stroke (11 SPI), like yours.
At 108 df., the ratio is still 3-to-1, in spite of the lighter stroking and therefore longer drive time.
For me, 1:46 @ 26 spm would be 8 seconds per 500m faster than my pb, set a decade ago.
Factoring in decline with age, this would be an improvement, due to my work on technique over the last eight years, of about a dozen seconds per 500m.
Given the 1:54 I pulled a decade ago, the prediction is that I will now pull 1:58.
For veterans, decline with age is right around 4 seconds per 500m per decade.
