A rousing TimbukTOO welcome to Chris Huning, who joined us even without me nagging him to death or holding my breath till I turned blue! Chris, we hope we can be helpful in helping you keep fit, strong & healthy!
Tuesday, a much-improved 14 of 57 erstwhile members (25%) logged 120,082 meters which, with Chris Huning's 553,745 meters, added a whopping 673,827m!

Closing In: John a whisker from 5.5M (-134m), Dennis close to 1.4M (-24,551m), Fred in range of 1.1M (-13,806), Chris skiing towards 800K (-14,409m), Daiva nearer 600K (-3,948), Tom nearing 450K (-8,125m), Yolanda (-1,320m) close to 400K, Brenda close to 200K (-16,555m) and Whitney still near 50K (-5,150m).

Chris,
That was my experience and motivation as well when I decided to join before one of the challenges last fall and have been very happy that I climbed on board. The daily updates, banter and occasional tips are great motivation for keeping me up to my daily early morning erg session...(at least until the weather warms up I can start my morning by worshiping at the altar of rotating mass.)

Welcome "New Chris"!! :D And I have managed to join the team for the WEC. Yay!

What the heck is "the altar of rotating mass?" I'm too dense to get it....

Has anyone seen the "Member of the Day" on the logbook today? Looks like a quintessential rower, except for the fact that he seems to have a power cord! That would help a lot in indoor competitions, but could be a problem for on-the-water rows... ;)

Biking...both mountain and road, though usually road during the week.
Biking season in MI is not too terribly long, so I take advantage of the ~3mo of good weather every chance I get.

Wow, he looks EXACTLY like me - only different!

Personally, I'm a hybrid, so I recharge MY batteries every time I hit the brakes!

He's turned in a way that we can't see the air valve on his neck...

(I wish my C2 was hooked into my power lines. Bet I could run all the lights in my house on my wind power!)

I thought that as well. ( Hey, since when do robots get to be rower of the day, and does he need to be plugged while rowing, or is he just recharging.)

Izz,

with all the confusion would it be possible to provide a confirmed entry list thus far?
