Re: Ranger's training thread
I think the plan now should be to do continuous "Steamroller" rows along the lines of the standard distance events: 5K, 6K, 30min, 10K, 60min, HM.mikvan52 wrote:In this undeleted by the moderator post we observe a question.aharmer wrote:(snip) My question is how you know your training is ready to attempt the marathon? ..... based on the current plan I hope you'll detail for us, are there any estimates as to when the big day might happen?
I notice there has been no answer.
Then, I can just extend this to 30K, and then a FM.

Does this new plan have dates associated with it... as in a timetable...?ranger wrote:I think the plan now should be to do continuous "Steamroller" rows along the lines of the standard distance events: 5K, 6K, 30min, 10K, 60min, HM.mikvan52 wrote:In this undeleted by the moderator post we observe a question.aharmer wrote:(snip) My question is how you know your training is ready to attempt the marathon? ..... based on the current plan I hope you'll detail for us, are there any estimates as to when the big day might happen?

Didn't think so.
I say this because you pointed out here that you thought you were ready for 10x2k/1:00r ~ 23 spm ~ UT last weekend
IOW: When do you "think" you have a plan vs when do you (simply) have a plan.
Or, is this merely an
"ranger thinks" thread?
Is there ever any doing?
