2k stratagies

Post by jcastro20111 » March 2nd, 2011, 12:03 pm

I am soliciting opinions to support either one of the following 2k strategies

1. find you split and stick to it for the whole piece

2. start then settle then sprint (with power 10s sprinkled somewhere in the race plan)

The reason I bring it up is I have seen both used successfully at the B's.

Thanks,
Carlos

2. seems rather pointless in an erg race except for the last couple of hundred meters. It is also inefficient as far as physics is concerned.

1. Best strategy
2. Like an OTW race but why do it on the erg? You could try it without the power 10s.

I usually try to very slightly negative split. And I usually end up following the flat splits strategy. It feels like negative splitting, but it isn't.
