Rowing well is taxing, too, if you are not used to it.

That's why you'd better get used to it, or you'll never row well.

I now row well at low drag.

20K a day.

1500 strokes a day.

Every day.

I have been doing something similar for the last eight years.

After a while, you get used to it.

Even if you are 60 years old.

The body is a creature of habit.

If you don't use it, you lose it.

If you don't do it a lot, you can't do it at all.

No.

I have plenty of gas from day to day for my training.

I always feel fresh and ready to row each morning.

I only have trouble with my glycogen levels when I have to cut weight and don't eat.

You may feel that way. This might be the effect of what I call "endorphin poisoning" ...>>> the "hit" you get from working out so much cloaks what is really going on in your body.
All this would explain your propensity to handle-down, DNS, & DNF....    :|

And Rich?
We have not forgotten. We are not "moving on". Show us the goods >>> 10x2k/1:00 rests ... a programmed workout...
Where is it?

Have you "lost it"?.....

ranger,

What time did you train on Feb 23rd? How many meters did you row?

This is not a place or time to work out personal vendettas and to have tantrums, Rich!
You make it sound like your real training goal is to jerk people around... (?)

On the surface:
Did you or did you not say: I will get a 10x2k/1:00 posted with all the pertinent details?

Underneath... are you in effect saying:
"there is no way I will ever post verification of my workouts that I claim I do" ?

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><<<<<><><><><><>>>

I would request the moderators at C2 to lock this thread now please.
There is no training going on.
Very simply: Saying you do things in cyberspace w/o the evidence is not "A training thread".

Please give RIchard Cureton, the 6:41 2k guy from Ann Arbor, one last ultimatum: Verify or be silenced.
Smoke and mirrors (posturing) can only be tolerated for so long.
This thread, IMHO, is not worth anything in the way of training advice.
The uninitiated might be fooled... but ranger "training" does not exist.

Henry (hjs)!
That's one of my personal favorite's! B)

I suggest that ranger figuratively "pick up a weapon and stand post"...   instead of delivering his simpering & whining soliloquies about being "much better than that now"...

Rich: Back to the prescribed workouts.. Does your monitor show anything like this when you do the 10x2k/1:00r?
BTW: The maximum number of urls allowed in a post is three....So I'll have to divide up my record of your prescribed training workout into multiple posts.

Note how my HR falls to a low plateau after 0:59 rest! B)
My HR had been at 142 when I completed the 10th rep. It drops precipitously to what you see here.

If you would be so kind: Take an equivalent shot of your own effort, too, for us to see... ??

Summary of all recent workouts I’ve done:

Rich: Would you post your equivalent screen shot please?

Nice 90min on the Kurt Kinetic after "Steamrolling" for 20K.

HR flat at 155 bpm, no drift.

My fitness is becoming _very_ good.

In addition to my "Steamrollering" sessions OTErg, I'll push these bike rides to 2.5 hours a day over the next two weeks while I am on vacation, just to get used to the FM distance before I do my FM trial OTErg.
