I have a Concept2 Model D with the PM3 and Polar heart rate monitor option. I know my Polar T31 transmitter is working properly because I get good HR readings on the Polar wristwatch receiver. Today I got onto the rower and I am getting crazy heart rate readings on the PM3 ranging from 09 to 230!? I looked at the forum postings and there was very little info to find on this topic. I guess this is an uncommon problem? At this point, the most useful info I found was:
1. Check the HR monitor wires. Disconnect, then reconnect to make sure there is a good connection.
2. Make sure the HR transmitter is working properly. I checked on my Polar wristwatch receiver and another C2 Model D with PM3 to make sure everything was functioning properly.
3. Remove the batteries overnight from the PM3 monitor to allow it to reset.
Does anyone have any other suggestions for me to try?
Thank you in advance for any advice!

4. Change the battery in your T31 strap.jfxm3 wrote:Does anyone have any other suggestions for me to try?
5. Move the HR interface dongle so that it's nearer to your chest strap.
6. Look at other equipment that uses the 2.4GHz (ISM) radio band.
7. Shoot anyone sitting next to you so that their HR strap isn't picked up by your HRI.

You're absolutely right - Citroen, could you ban whoever said such an objectionable thing?Bob S. wrote:Hey! The moderators are supposed to ban those who post stuff like that .Citroen wrote: 7. Shoot anyone sitting next to you so that their HR strap isn't picked up by your HRI.
