So I have just started back at rowing after several months of nothing . On my second workout I rowed for 30min at not at what I would call a hard pace . I only took my heart rate up to 103 . I didn't really break a sweat , but my PM 4 says that I burned just over 700 calories . When I was rowing before on my PM 3 I don't remember burning calories that high for that type of workout . Has anyone else encountered this type of calorie burn with a moderate 30 min row . I remember doing something like 100 calories every 10 min on my PM 3 . Do I have a faulty PM ?

So I have sorted it out .
I didn't know about a secret menu that allows you to set the PM to a specific machine model .
Mine was set for a model C erg not a model D . I have changed it to match the erg so all should be well now .
