He was a great man and will be sorely missed!!
Get well to our folks suffering from viruses and muscle woes! Take it easy and recover. We're all in this for the long haul, just like Jack.

Sometimes the path ahead requires us to take a detour, but we just need to work our way back on the road.

Brilliant!!!
The only thing I don't like about his interview was his apparent disdain for coffee. Don't GET between me and my Peet's!!!

Jack LaLanne changed my life about 41 years ago. I read one of his books and started eating healthy and exercising.
Jack in the 1940's to 50's.
(Jack is in white trucks)
Jack LaLanne ...
"Life is great when your in shape!"
"The King and Queen of good health is proper nutrition and exercise."
"Ten seconds on the lips and a lifetime on the hips."

Went over 2 millon lifetime meters yesterday. Started rowing March 10. 2009
Ray Wright
M-50 5'11" 200lbs.
If one wanted to lay waste to all the energy in the body in the shortest possible time, rowing would be the way to do it. (Kiesling)

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Hey, I'd offer you MY shoulder, but I already have one of those installed. Very eco-friendly - she echos everything I say! It's hard when I need to squat to get through doorways, order extra-tall beds, scrub my shoulder, and share my food - not to mention that my right shoulder is now four inches lower than my left one.damselfly wrote:

On balance, I'll go with the parrot next time - it'll match my eyepatch better...

LOL, Izz!! Thanks for the laugh!! But, I could balance you out! Bring that left shoulder down.
Disclaimer: I don't look anywhere NEAR as good as the wench on his starboard gunwale....
Off to row, and finish Contact. I'd forgotten Matthew McConaughey was in it. Not quite Johnny Depp, but any port in a storm, as we rowers know!
