Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Well it's 4:15 pm est....And I see that we have acquired 827,566 meters with an Elton Giorgi( honor meters #1844)......I suspect that someone is having fun with numbers I cannot believe that an individual would actually be doing what I'm seeing????? Where's the Virtual Police when you need them....
Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Izzy's microwaves must be causing some minor chaos and random puns. But, I'm having a hoot of a good time rowing on this team. Way to Row!
Dennis, I agree...we need some virtual police to stop the boat jumping pirates. Maybe they don't realize they are joining and leaving teams when they are changing their log book settings.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Glenn...we are being swept by that motocross team....need to row some more meters we are about 2800 behind....as far as whatever is happening with the see saw .....if it's the person....I'm sorry I do not want that type of person alongside my backside or in front of me leading.....LIFE IS TOO SHORT.....
Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Well now he is on c2 tweetcrew.com.....I believe this is a troll and not a rower people..... it is 6:10 pm and he has honor meters #1833 with no E mail address.
Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Elton is not a troll and this team is horrible and cruel. I have been asked to join and would never ever consider it.
I am not a troll either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
If Elton is truly a person I apologize for the characterization....my actions are not of this Team ...but me Dennis B.Horvath...this Team had nothing to do with my statement.....If your telling me that all of you are apologizing for the behavior I accept that as a human being, and willing to let this blow by.....If not a loss is a loss...enough time has been spent on this ...Life is too short.

Re: VTC Progress
Another good day for Team Timbuktwo! 20 of 43 members (47%!!) logged 264,698 total meters, and we are a hair's breadth away from 5.6mm!! Still in 13th place but we have closed the gap between us and team #12 to 252km!! Let's see if we can close that gap and pass them by the close of Sunday's rowing!!
John is at an astonishing 430k for the challenge, Dennis is at an intimidating 386k, and Tyrone, David, Izz, and Doug are commanding respect from the 200s!! 18 rowers are on the 100k board as well, and our team average is 130k.

My hubby will be at his aforementioned DnD gathering on Saturday, and if I'm feeling well and my back is OK, I'm toying with the idea of a half-marathon, which I haven't been able to do since 2009. We'll see.....
Row strong, team!!!!

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
We have the last third of January left to row in the JVC. We can finish strong together.
The effort of this team is amazing.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I've been sidelined with a "horrible and cruel" chest cold, complete with chills and ab strengthening coughing fits. I hope to be able to return to some rowing by tomorrow. 250K seems unlikely for me now.

I believe it's that time of year...take care and do not push your recovery.....do what you can today for your recovery so tomorrow will be better.mathineer wrote:I've been sidelined with a "horrible and cruel" chest cold, complete with chills and ab strengthening coughing fits.
