:D VTC2011 Adds TimbukTWO As Port Of Call! :D
Yes, TimbukTOOians will participate in January's Virtual Team Challenge, as we have yearly! We have put up a new team called "TimbukTWO, Pat's", and the Captain's chair will be kept warm by my more-ample posterior until she gets her scrawny butt over there!
So, please go to your Teams Page, pick us as your Virtual Team, & separately (yeah, that's how it works) sign up for the VTC!

3 seats are taken on the first day, going for at least 50! Let's get signed up!

Ok.... I arent sure what is going on here but....

I think I have joined the 'new' team, can someone please provide confirmation?

Why is the team 'Closed'?

Thanks for sitting in the chair, Izzz! The January challenge is my favorite and I won't miss it. I just signed up for "TimbukTWO, Pat's" . One note...I had last year's "TIMBUK2" team on that page when I went to sign up and it took me a minute to figure out you have to leave that team to join the new one. Here's what your team page should look like:

Yeah, can we take the "CLOSED" off the forum name or does Pat have to do that?

My wife (Pam) doesn't know it yet but I just signed her up to the online logbook and to team TimbukTOO :D She doesn't row a lot but every meter counts, right?

She's not much for online forums and such but I'm hoping she will become a little more active once she sees what others are doing.

VTC2011? TimbukTWO Now THREE Times Bigger!
Yes, TimbukTOOians will participate in January's Virtual Team Challenge, as we have yearly! We have put up a new team called "TimbukTWO, Pat's", and the Captain's wheel will be held by my inexperienced hands, awaiting Pat's steady hand!
So, please go to your Teams Page, pick us as your Virtual Team, & separately (yeah, that's how it works) sign up for the VTC!

Yesterday we got our first 3 sign-ups, and today we're up to 9!
(Dennis & Glenn, thanks for signing up for the Team, BUT... you still need to join the VTC!)

Do I understand correctly that in order to participate in the VTC we need to sign up with "TimbukTWO, Pat's"? Will this team, TimbukTOO, remain or should we switch our affiliation as well?

Hi guys! Just dropping a note since Yisroel sent me a PM. Been out of pocket trying to get a house bought and move lined up for January. Yes... a January move in *Chicago*.

My 200K goal for the holiday challenge blew up, but I'm still going to get 100K done. May take it right up to Christmas Eve, but I'll have the last three days off work so I'll make it. Yes, Yis... Britt is still on the couch (well, or packing/cleaning out the house). I'll get him rowing again, but am guessing not before the new year.
