Crikey, reindeer everywhere, congratulations to all on achievements to date! Remembering Concept donates money to charity based on metres rowed so makes it even more worthwhile; helping others while keeing fit :)

No rowing tomorrow as off to Canberra for the weekend with the family, although might sneak one in on Sunday when we get back. TomO is on holidays from today....

In the meantime I think the Oprah invasion of Sydney is about to begin, apparently the Opera House is now the Oprah House!

Good weekend to all......

Antlers rattling, high five hoofin', and the 23rd reindeer muscles his way to the gate...says the herd name that came up in the roster was Twinkle....and that's just not right for him...he's gonna be Bubba. Bubba with a twinkle in his eye maybe?!

Congratulations, Mitch J, on achieving the 100K Holiday Challenge Board! You've chosen a fine reindeer...one anxious to hit the skies....so earn those antler navigation lights!

......Barbara / Starbuck...

Woohoo, Barbara! How amazing is it that you have just completed the first 100,000 m of the holiday challenge -- following two surgeries! Your reindeer, Starbuck, is free to join the Luna herd for sleigh duty!

We've had some specific requests for reindeer names. Of course, this kind of started with the Comet straw...you've all been grand sports! How timely to see the book below in the kid's section of a local bookstore today....it was meant to be!

Wowzer, mates - could hardly get the numbers entered before another milestone occurred this morning! So, might have captured two days for some of you early rowers...it's all good!

ImageImageImage 52 Million Team Meters!!!

Congratulations, Lunies! We've crossed the 52 million team meter milestone!

Season meters as of 224/365 = 52,035,197 m

Hi Chris,
I hope I did'nt do any "trampling" and if I did, I had my little "New Balance Reindeer Shoes" on so it would'nt hurt anybody  Being on this team has just got me so exicited :!: I reached my first "lifetime million" on Friday and this has motivated me to get to the "season million". I know I never would have come close to these goals so soon, if I had not joined the Luna-Tics. Just like the Beach Boys, "I'm pickin' up GOOD VIBRATIONS": :D
:!: Blitzen/Ron[/quote]

Blitzen/Ron,

Congrats on the first LT1 Mill a defintie great achievement. And an up cooming one Mill year, another great. That was me 8 years ago. When I found the Lonney Tunes and this year 20 Mill LTM later, something to shoot for and you will make it with your attitude. Wishing you great erging ahead. I used to be the stud on this team but I recruited Will S and 27 put the the spurs to the old erg and AJ is closing fast and now you; keep'em comin' I love it. I guess I am going to have to take it out of vacation mode.
