And shouldn't the first be Rudolph? That would back everyone up one!
Or do we want to wait and see who is the most prolific meter maven to determine Rudolph?
I leave those decissions to the powers that be.
Just trying to stir the puddin'.
And, you stir so well, Danno ... :P

I was never sure where Rudolph fitted into the team ... he didn't seem to feature in "the" poem (Disney, maybe!?):

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

Perhaps whichever of our young rowers finishes with the most meters can have the lead reindeer honors?

Woot, woot! First post! No doubt at all that you will make that first million (and get your virtual fireworks, Concept2 tee shirt, and pin) by the end of the year if you keep putting in these mega-meters! And thanks for being part of this team !

Image
Congratulations on the FULL marathon - I know you were given a full moon graphic (full moon for meter totals that are 42,195 m or more but less than 50,000 m )for accumulated meter total of 43K plus some change - didn't realize that it was a 42,195 m plus some change! Even better!

I was kinda down when I had to give up running due to various physical problems, but being a part of the Concept 2 online community and being a Luna-Tic has really kept me motivated and made me feel a part of something much greater than myself. I did my first full marathon this past weekend (helped with the Thanksgiving food hangover). I hope to make it to my first million before the end of the year and contribute my utmost for the team challenge.
Thanks for letting me be part of this team and good luck and kudos to all my fellow "Looneys"!

PS Despite being a scientist, I am still technically challenged. If I have done something wrong in this post, don't hesitate to tell me.

Yes, welcome all, this is a quirky little group. :D

Is there one more person who might puh-lease row with us for this challenge? We are 99 LunaTics at the moment, and I find myself starting with "99 bottles of beer on the wall" every time I look at the team affiliation page ... save me!

Prancer, out.

I'm working on a real world rowing teammate who is looking for motivation this winter in her erging endeavors. Maybe we'll hit that century mark with her.

Woohoo! FIVE reindeer have been freed up for sleigh duty! Congratulations, Vixen...I mean Danno, and Comet (aka Will S)! There's still a lot of reindeer out there for us to get in exchange for some Holiday Challenge meters!

We're at 98 teammates ....we have Bart and clone of Bart (he is registered in two cities so I combined them into just the one Bart numerically, but he shows up twice in the count). So we could use TWO or more teammates!!
