no no no... you;ve confused yourself again... you've told us many many times recently that you now row perfectly, and all you need to do is sharpen - which you said you'd started.... you're not still working on technique... that phase is finished...

remember back in summer.... "I will do all the distance pieces in September"

And the end of this:

I've banned ranger. Because I'm such a nice guy I've only done it for 24 hours though, so tune in tomorrow.

:D :D

This is the funniest thing I have heard so far.

Been there, done that.

You have no understanding of the depth, pitch, and ineradicable ill-will in the tight, snobbish rowing community.

In 2003, I broke the WR twice in a row and it only heightened the pitch of nasty nay-saying, which had already been going on for a year.

So, in response, three weeks later, I broke the WR a third time.

Robert Brody, coach of the USIRT, probably lost his job over the issue, and now, there _is_ no USIRT.

No wonder.

After twenty years with the company, at Concept2, they had to lock Brody's computer and tell him to go home.

I am happy to have a discussion about training with some decent human beings, but nay-sayers are not human beings, and nay-saying is not a conversation about training.

Nay-sayers are vermin--insecure, small-minded, passive-agressive wimps, who, being lame themselves, don't want anyone else to succeed, especially if those who are succeeding are doing something that they aren't doing--or can't, or won't.

Anyone have some rat poison?

He is obviously hoping that people have forgotten the boycott of his blog after the shameful non payment of his bet with Henry. The lack of interest and feedback almost crushed his ego hence coming back to this site......and to my eternal shame i followed him. Mind you i give him a week till he upsets somebody for daring to question his methods. The circle of shite begins once more.

I am avoiding his UK BLOG but I don't know how long I can hold out. How is everyone else doing? Maybe just a quick peek wouldn't hurt anything. No, no, no. I won't. That would be like the alcoholic who has taken the vow taking just a sip. I'm not looking. We can get through this. Stay strong.

It is getting a large viewing, as might be expected, and several comments. The tone of the comments seems to be quite welcoming, which surprises me. I suppose that it could just be politeness on their part or perhaps tongue in cheek. They may even mean it - who knows?

Byron - just go back and read some of the old stuff, if you must. Can't imagine anything he's posted overseas has a different accent.

$0.25 in my jar just for being here.

I thought I would post this in honor of TWO of his recorded times in organized races within the last year

Image

I'm unsure whether this was his last recorded time....but maybe he can duplicate it at BIRC?

It would appear that our hero has been temporarily blocked from this site. Thank gawd the UK site has given him an outlet to share his modesty with the world. Just think if they hadn't? He'd be surfing for porn in the middle of the night with a large G & T in his mitt instead. Phew!

You are just now coming to a diagnosis that has been offered multiple times?

The other possibility, of course, is that he's just a world-class dick.

He certainly gets plenty of attention though - his most recent blog entry has over 400 views ... as of right now, more than the sum total of all blog posts made since his. A quick scan of all blog entries seems to indicate that he has the top 10 most popular blog posts made on the site. I guess everyone loves a good show!
