Driven indoors by the new storm of the century and record-breaking low pressure, Moose and Kenneth G vow not to repeat the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald....and capture their Skeleton Crew skulls instead..... congratulations, Darryl and Kenneth G, on completing the Skeleton Crew Challenge!!

I'm starting to like the "mohawk effect" of the Skeleton Crew logo over the skull....who needs tiki lights when you've got skulls?!

27 - Congratulations on completing 3 Million Meters for this Season! Great Rowing Chris!

Robyn - Congratulations on completing 1 Million Meters for this Season! Way to Row!

I woke up this morning with about a 4" blanket of the slippery, sloppy, white stuff. It won't last and should be gone tomorrow. Although this storm had some punch to it and the low pressure of a category 2 or 3 hurricane, it came straight at Duluth out of the West. So we ended up with mostly off shore winds, rather than the strong funneling East winds that hit us in advance of a storm coming up from the Southwest. Darn. I was set to get out and get some photos of the predicted 15 to 17 foot waves on Lake Superior. Didn't happen here....

Thanks, all, for the attagirls ... sometimes, that's what it takes to get rowing in the evening after work!

BTW, Danno ... the "perhaps more famous" Danno (James MacArthur), just died. I'll have a mai tai in his honor tonight.

OMG I didn't know. Hope you like the new Hawaii 5-0! Love the way they explained how danno got his name and how Hawaii 5-0 got their name.
