I am a 62+ year old male, looking to join a team.
I erg between 6-10K meters 4 or 5 days per week.
I have been erging for about 16 months
My speed is gradually improving- did a 1:48 500 last month at the end of a workout.
My immediate goal is 8 min for 2K-- but 2K speed trials are not a lot of fun.
I average about a 2:15 pace during my workouts.
Thanks,
looking for a team

Re: looking for a team
As a 51 year old male working his way up in incremental improvements, I second Pat J M. We at TimbukTOO would love to have you. We have all levels from our Captain, Jim Kielma who is #9 so far this year of all those posting their meters rowed in the world, to Pat, our previous Captain working her way back steadily from health reversals, to people who only occasionally row.
There will always be people in your range, and someone above your range you can try to catch up to and pass. And Jim is very positive, and he tracks everyone's milestones...And we're the #10 team, maybe you can help us move into the #9 slot!
Again, us TimbukTOOers would love to have you join!

I am not looking to set the world on fire- but I feel that with some structure and coaching that I can continue to improve, continue to get more fit, and hit some of the goalsI have set. How do I join this virtual team?
Re: looking for a team
Go to edit your profile..then look for teams/affiliations and there is a drop down menu and TimbukTOO will be on that menu.Just click and you will be a member.Great team., great people and a great captain.Motivation will always be there for you.
