I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this, and knows how it can be prevented....

Today 5 of us did a 6k race on RowPro. We had some trouble getting started but finally got it off on the 4th attempt, in Quick Race format. Everything seemed to go fine throughout the race. I was the slowest boat and everyone else was finished when I still had about a minute to go. Then, with less than 300m to go, the race suddenly stopped on my screen and on my PM3 with that message window that you usually get when a race is completed. Obviously I was very frustrated, as this was an all-out effort and I was headed for a slight PB with that final 300m sprint.

Sooo.. what I am wondering is this: If a race master finishes the race and quits it before everyone else is done, does it stop the race? Or was this just some random flaw with the software or my computer? I am not blaming anyone, I just want to know for next time.

- Krysta

Too bad it also hit your PM3 or you could have at least have a final result.

BTW. Yvette was pretty excited when I got home. Jo and Yvette finished the 30 minute race and Yvette ended up with a 6728 PB which gives her the 30 min. lead in the 60-69 HWT rankings.

Frank
Tell Yvette congrats! I was hoping to do that 30 min race along with her, but ended up doing the 6k right before it instead. This CTC has me so distracted!

You and Yvette are both really breaking new ground in your age groups.

- Krysta
