Hi gang,
Got back from vacation and have been playing catch-up all week! I should get to row tomorrow (Thursday) for the first time since being back, and I'll try the RT again. My back got really sore last week from rowing on a stationary erg. It got more stiff and ouchy as the week away went on. I hope to be able to shave about 10 sec off. I seem to have the most trouble on the 750's. On the 1K and the 500 I can hit my target but I'm off by about 2 sec/500 on the 750s.

Dwayne, how's the ankle? Do you row barefoot?

WOW GOOD ONE JUMPSODA you pushed us up into the Silver!!!! great row!!!!

We are still 30 seconds behind first place. Those guys must be eating their Wheaties every day for sure.

Good row for you too Taffy Adams!

Niall you are making me want to try the Bleep test. That's a minute on, a minute rest, and the paces go down a second each time, right?

Welcome back Carla. With respect to the Bleep test, the pace goes down in the following steps:

2:30-2:00 pace - 5 seconds
2:00-1:30 pace - 2 seconds
1:30-finish pace - 1 second

Good luck and watch that back of yours.

The heel is all better now. Thanks for asking. I row/erg in socks, not completely barefoot.
Row hard, row well.

Did another Rugby test, improvement 7.6 seconds. I may still be able to shave a few more off in a few days if someone yells at me.

On Slides
1K 3:45 1:52.5 36
750 2:44.1 1:49.4 37
500 1:47.2 1:47.2 41
250 50.4 1:40.8 45
750 2:43.4 1:48.9 35

I had a horrible start to the first 500 because I got off kilter and whacked the front and back ends of the slides about 6 times, which was really maddening!!!

We are still in 2nd place and it's a big stretch to Gold, I think we all have to improve by like 20 seconds or something
