CONGRATULATIONS SANDI in passing the 150K meter mark. Way to row! Atta girl
Despite working 12 hour night shifts, fighting the heat, and being dead dog tired, Sandi has met another milestone

That's an accomplishment. It's easy to put off rowing when you are busy. Way to go keeping up with the exercise. Sometimes that's what helps me get through. If I'm tired that usually means that I need to row.

Re: The TimbukTOO/TIMBUK2 Team Room SEASON 2010
my "half-marathon+" was actually a 10k Monday and 10k + a little extra yesterday. I'm thinking that I'll end up having to row a half toward the end of the month to get the dog days completed.

Re: Bottom of Things
First, thanks a bunch Jim for being our team CAPTAIN and all the things you do to keep us going!
I don't post very often but maybe it's time to get to the bottom of things. Seems like our team spends quite a bit of time in the seat. My body composition is on the leaner side so there is not much between my pelvic bones and the seat. Maybe I need to make an adjustment to my diet to increase my natural padding.
Besides natural padding, what kinds of things do you do to stop your bottom from getting sore? I have one of the rubber seat cushions that Concept 2 sells but mine is more than several years old, so not all that soft and elastic. I have tried sitting on bubble wrap and that offers some relief but I keep squishing out the little air bubbles and running out of bubble wrap.
Just thought I would check with my rowing team buddies to see what helps.
Thanks, Freddy the Human
(I use this name to distinguish myself from the dog also named Freddy. He comes when you say Freddy but I wait until I hear Freddy the Human.

Why do people celebrate getting a year older?
