How come Facebook didn't let me know that today's your b'day!?!! Aargh. And I could have been eating cake in your honor all day, if only I'd realized earlier. I'll raise a glass of wine instead and am wishing you for a very Happy Birthday, right now!

Hope you did everything that makes you happy, Astrogator!

Have a great rowing day! Tomorrow I have a canoe reserved for 8 AM on Grand Lake....it's a Guide canoe I'm told...I'll try not to think of Grand Lake as the deepest natural lake in Colorado....

Kona2 I can't think of a nicer way to spend a Sunday than exploring the shoreline of a mountain lake by canoe. Enjoy! And the Guide canoe thing could mean several things, but most likely it will be an Old Town Guide; a ubiquitous, Tupperware, general purpose, do it all, inexpensive canoe. Paddles OK, very stable, but a little heavy, slow, short and beamy for my taste. Moose

Thanks for the info - I'll bet it is an Old Town. Btw, Barbara G says hi to everyone. Her link to forum does not work right now.

As I begin the (long) trip home, I just have two things to say:
1. Congrats to all for the long list of accomplishments achieved.
2. Thanks to each and every Luna for their encouragement and motivation.
Dan, I am so glad you brought me onboard.
Next stop, a base with 5 Model E's. I know what I'll be doing :D

Howdy Luna-tics

Seems so much has happened while I was away in ‘The Landy’...We had a great trip, fending off wild Koalas, wrestling crocs' and having the odd beer or two  ! Just need to get the fitness back up for my walk in Papua New Guinea in 6 weeks...read, row frantically for 6 weeks! The ‘Moose’ will need to come over for a paddle in North Queensland!

To all the milestones over the past 4 weeks, congratulations, a very happy birthday (belated as it is) to K2 who turned 21(?) recently... and to any new Luna-tics – welcome!

And ouch...just a touch sore after this morning’s row.....

Cheers, BBB
