PM3 Logcard: Multiple Users

Post by myboypat » June 28th, 2010, 2:30 pm

My Model-D is in transit, and I'm very excited! I have one quick question.. There will be 4 people using the rower, and I know that the logcard can be used by up to five people. Does the card truly work well for multiple users? I'm wondering if it would be better for me to order individual cards for everyone.
Can you type in individual names, or is it something like "user 1", "user 2", etc? I'm concerned that I could mistakenly use someone else's "account", or they may mistakenly use mine.
Any input would be appreciated!

Yes it works for multiple users. You can type in peoples actual names. Main thing is if you row a lot the card will fill up. so you'll need to back up the data to a PC and delete work outs. Or buy cards and let everyone manage their own data.

Thanks for the quick response! I guess that I'll see how quickly the card fills, then decide whether or not to buy multiple cards.

The card is really only a backup for your session or in case the likes of RowPro crashes on you during a row or useful say if you use different ergs to save your session.

Sooner or later it will fill up so your better off uploading your results to the "Online Logbook" here on the C2 website.
