In the cards

Post by Kona2 » April 28th, 2010, 1:24 pm

Actually, Moose, we haven't consulted Madame Zoltana - seer of the future - interpreter of the cards - lately! Let's see what she says:

Image

She says you're an ace, you hold all the cards needed for success - and you're playing with a full deck! :D

Kona2 - Don't know about the full deck, but I'm definitely playing with a Husqvarna 385XP.

DavidA - You being the ancient scholarly type from Timbuktu out in the desert and entirely within Earthly confining boundaries will have to ponder that question. Is one's perception, reality? Us Luna-Tics are too focused on our mission to worry.

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 4.28.10

Post by Kona2 » April 29th, 2010, 10:02 am

Btw, David A is a part-time LunaTic (or is that episodic?!) who joins us for many of the team challenges - definitely a good one to ponder whether we are ever playing with a full deck!

This is the stuff of cheesy horror flicks...chain saws and the attack of the killer beetles - whether due to insects or storm damage or just plain reduction of fire danger - it's a lot of work to clear out trees!! Image Whoa....beastie looking chain saw there, Moose! We've heard the sometimes not too distant rrrrrr of the chain saws many times in the last two years as area residents clear out trees due to beetle kill. Although, as a side note, I heard from an NREL (Natl Renewable Energy Lab) guy that there is a renewable fuels plant here in Denver that is using the chips from beetle kill wood and able to produce 80 percent of heat from the chips.

Image days left in the rowing year or Image for Bazzy, Dave or Angelo

Just (264,585 m) to go for the 115 MM meter mark - and our 75 percent-of-the-way-there milestone!!

Kapt'n K,

Congratulations on a Million meter season.

Didn't quite make my goal of 5 Million this year, but all things considered I'm OK with that. 2011 season will get off to a slow start since the Princess and I are leaving on Caribbean Cruise May 1to May 8.

Well, Doctor Dan, what you did achieve is still pretty darn impressive. No doubt you would have made it if you had kept all your limbs in operation for the whole year. Enjoy your cruise. You deserve it.

The full moon beckoned the other day......and the Luna-tics rose to the occassion!...great work to all fellow Lunies..

And I guess tomorrow is 'donut day' as we call it at work! Everything reverts to zero......

Good luck for the New Season, and good weekend to all......BBB

PS. Might go home and have an 'Old Admiral' - brewed at the Lord Nelson pub in the Rocks in Sydney (down the road from work!)...and as good as it is, at 6.1% I think it best I only have the one though
